Breakpoint Completion

Often break points of common rearrangements are omitted by the user of the ISCN. For a range of such aberrations, a utility was developed which will add the respective break points.

The utility is accessed from the CyDAS Main Window via the "Edit - Breakpoint Search" menu:

Only the currently active group will be affected from the utility.

The following rearrangements are completed:
From Rearrangement To Rearrangement
t(11;19) t(11;19)(q23;p13)
t(15;17) t(15;17)(q22;q21)
t(4;11) t(4;11)(q21;q23)
t(7;11) t(7;11)(p15;p15)
t(8;21) t(8;21)(q22;q22)
t(9;11) t(9;11)(p22;q23)
t(9;22) t(9;22)(q34;q11)

The information which rearrangement can be completed and how this is done is stored in the database table "ExpandAberrations": There is no functionality inside the CyDAS application to change this table, but it may be edited with other programs accessing the database.
