Online ISCN Analysis

This program displays virtually all information which can be extracted from karyotypes and the rearrangements therein: gains and losses of chromosomal material, break points, junctions,.... In case of an error, a specific error message is shown; more information on ISCN errors can be found in the HowTo "ISCN Error Analysis".

Enter an ISCN formula of a simple karyotype or a composite karyotype into the text field below and then click "Analyse" for the analysis of the karyotype. Individual clones of a polyclonal karyotype can be delimited by a "/"; in this case, a "composite" karyotype is calculated and analysed. Furthermore, you can select if the chromosome bands are to be linked with the NCBI or the Ensemble MapViewer.
